Dating back to 1914, this historic water storage tank was constructed by the Metropolitan Water and Sewerage Board to contain a massive steel water storage tank. The Bellevue Standpipe is located atop Bellevue Hill at Washington Park and West Roxbury Parkway in Massachusetts. A second storage tank was added at this location in the 1950s. The Bellevue Standpipe was enlisted on the the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
