As an ode to the Chevrolet Corvette, a car that has been on American roads since 1953, the National Corvette Museum was constructed in 1994. The museum is located in close proximity to the Bowling Green Assembly Plant where the Corvettes were manufactured since 1981. This sprawling building is known to house more than 70 Corvette models, eons of related memorabilia as well as specially made concept cars. One of the exhibits also includes the one-millionth Corvette that was donated by Chevrolet to the museum. The museum arranges for buyers of the Corvette to have their car picked up here, and they receive VIP tours of the museum.
Lost River Archaeological Cave is a subterranean cavern in the town of Bowling Green, Kentucky. St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church is a historic church located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The church building was constructed in 1870 using a mix of architectural styles such as Gothic, High Victorian Gothic and Italianate. The church property also includes a cemetery. The structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
E. A. Diddle Arena was dedicated in 1963 to the legendary coach who achieved immense success with Western Kentucky University. Formerly known as Drakes Creek Baptist Church, this church has been serving the Baptist Christian community of Bowling Green. The church, established in 1911, was deigned by architect William Burton, after whom this sacred home is named. Burton Memorial Baptist Church features a beautiful white-stone facade, with stain glass windows. Apart from Sunday Eucharist celebrations, community events are regularly conducted at this church.
