"Historical Ruins"

Meydancık Castle existed from the Ottoman times as Beydili Kale and is now in ruins. The castle can be accessed either from Gülnar through a 11 kilometer (6.8 miles) road or Aydıncık by a 35 kilometer (22 miles) road. It can also be reached by Mersin (via Gülnar) which is about 165 kilometer (103 miles). A treasure containing 5215 coins from several Hellenistic states were excavated from this palace. These coins are displayed at the Silifke Museum.
