Nogueira da Silva Museum

Housed in his beautiful home, the museum dedicated to Nogueira da Silvais considered by many to be his rich and lasting artistic legacy. Housing a collection of invaluable artifacts amassed over a number of years, the museum is an important cultural and historic center in the city. The exhibition here includes renaissance paintings, sculptures, 17th-centuy furniture, ceramics and religious artifacts in ivory and silver. Do not miss the wonderful French style gardens in the museum's courtyard with statues, fountains and lovely flower beds.
