"Japanese Country"
Japanese born Shoji Tabuchi is living his dream; he learned to play violin at an early age and shortly thereafter he became enamored with American country music. He traveled to the states to meet the legendary country star Roy Acuff, who gave him a gig at the Grand Ole Opry and the rest, they say, is history. However, Shoji could not play second-fiddle for long in Nashville, so he built this eponymous theater in 1990 and has performed there ever since. Most of the music is folksy Americana, however Shoji has a massive following here in Branson, and tickets can sometimes be difficult to obtain. For exact times, check website for complete calendar.
