Founded in 1979, the museum chronicles the local history, culture and life in the Escambia County, and features multiple historical, cultural and archaeological artifacts. The museum is surely worth a visit in order to attain in-depth knowledge about the local heritage and culture during the colonization period and the early 1800s, all of which directly influenced the Escambia Community of Alabama State.
