Arundel

This is a pretty little town west of Brighton with its own castle and cathedral. Both are imposing structures and house extensive collections of furniture and paintings. They are both open to the public. The town is situated on the River Arun and is pleasant to stroll around, browsing in the antique shops and stopping for tea at one of several cafes. There is also a museum and boat trips can be taken along the river.
