British Airways i360

Known as the world's slenderest tall tower, the i360 reaches a height of 162 meters (531 feet). It was designed by Marks Barfield and his team, the same team that was behind the construction of the remarkable London Eye. The observation tower is not only the site of the world’s first vertical cable car but it’s also considered to be the tallest moving observation tower in the world. Visitors to the i360 can enjoy great views of the entire city as well as the azure waters of the Brighton sea. St Wulfran's Church

The Anglican church of St Wulfran is perched in the hamlet of Ovingdean in Brighton and Hove. This lovely church is one of the oldest buildings in the city. Dated as early as the 12th Century, this church existed during the Domesday Book. Located among the beautiful and peaceful environment of the village, the church is still active and holds services regularly. The chancel and nave are from the 12th Century whereas the tower with a pyramidal spire was added in the 13th Century. Some of its notable features are the lancet and stained glass windows and the lychgate. This shrine is listed as Grade I by English Heritage.

St Botolph's Church

This 11th Century place of worship was originally dedicated to St Peter de Vetere Ponte which was St Peter of the Old Bridge but in time, as this church was serving this town, it came to be known as the St. Botolph's Church. It is built in a Norman style, has a notable Jacobean pulpit and a few medieval paintings to interest historians. The structure was termed as a Grade II listed building in 1955 and is still in regular use, with services being held every week.

Church of the Transfiguration

Found in the quaint hamlet of Pyecombe in West Sussex, Church of the Transfiguration happens to be an Anglican place of worship. Church of the Transfigutation building dates back to the 12th and the 13th centuries. Its architectural style is Medieval and it consists of a plain and chancel dating back to 12th Century, a nave, chancel arch in semicircular design, couple of rectangle-shaped windows on both side of the nave and a a small tower that dates back to the 13th Century. Church of the Transfiguration is now marked as a Grade I listed structure.

St Mary the Virgin, Brighton

The gorgeous red-bricked St Mary's Church lies in the Kemptown neighborhood of Brighton and Hove. This beautiful shrine dates from the 1870s and is Early English and French Gothic revival in style. The beautiful church has stunning interiors with Bath stonework. The chancel has a pentagonal ambulatory and apse. There is a long nave with aisles on either sides and arches, a semicircular baptistery, an organ chamber and vestries. This church has been assigned Grade II by English Heritage.
