"Neo-Classical Manor House"

Nether Lypiatt Manor is a manor house located in the parish of Thrupp, near Stroud, and was a royal residence. The original structure was built between 1702-1705 by Jugje John Coxe, and one wing was added in the year 1923. Listed as a Grade I building, this 18th-century structure is considered as a masterful illustration of early 18th-century formal houses. The structure has four floors, with a basement and an attic floor. What survives of the structure today is the paneling, the original stone fireplaces and staircase. Put up for sale in 2005, Nether Lypiatt Manor is now under the ownership of a businessman Lord Drayson.
