Gloucestershire Way

The Gloucestershire Way crosses dense forests to take the hiker from Chepstow to Tewkesbury on the banks of the river Severn. The first part of the route takes you through the ancient forest of Dean. The second part of this route takes you across the Severn Vale at Gloucester. The Third part takes you through the rolling hills and steep valleys of the Cotswolds. Finally, you descend down to the scenic embrace of the river Severn The entire distance covered in this trail is 100 miles, which is around 160 kilometers. However, the route can be broken down into 8 parts with various end points. Take a short hike of 16 kilometers (9.95 miles) or head straight for the entire journey. Either way, it provides for a perfect adventure outdoors.
