Church Cottage

There are a lot of interesting things about the Church Cottage. It is a listed heritage structure built in 1852. It is an interesting Victorian- Gothic style building that was designed by Henry Woodyer. But, perhaps the most interesting bit about this house is that it was a former home of J.K.Rowling, the famous author of the Harry Potter Series. The cottage is a childhood home of the eminent author and she is said to have taken inspiration from the house while writing the series. With a few calling the house 'very Hogwarts like' the place does ooze a very Gothic feel. Nearby are located, Rowling's school, the and various other aspects of her life.
