This beautiful old house on a sleepy block near Plaza Serrano in the heart of Palermo is a relaxed Brazilian watering hole in the evening and a bumping dance party by night. Devenir Brasil is best visited late on a weekend night, when the sweaty percussionists get the beautiful imports moving in time with their rhythms, as if this was some Ipanema beach disco rather than a bar nestled in Buenos Aires' hippest 'hood. Knock to be let in and head directly for the central patio, where Brazil's favorite drink, the caipirinha, flows like water.
