This small theater in Burbank features intimate productions of high quality. The group has received praise from local drama critics and produces plays in all genres-musicals, comedy, and drama—classical and contemporary. Ray Bradbury, the science fiction writer, has a special affection for this theater. The Colony has mounted four Bradbury productions through the years, including three world premieres: The Martian Chronicles, Fahrenheit 451 and The World of Ray Bradbury.
Located just outside the Burbank Town Center, this AMC theater offers the latest movies in Digital Surround Sound. If you're hungry you can go to the concession stand and buy snack and drinks, including a bag of popcorn. This movie also has a great discounted prices if you catch a movie before noon on the weekend.
The Six01 Studio is a place where ideas meet action. This large space allows one to shoot, film and even produce music. Some of the few facilities include Photoshoots, Filming, Events, Theater, Gallery for artists to showcase their works and music, where each domain has a trained team to make your visions come true.
The Burbank High School Auditorium is located right at the heart of the city and is a popular spot for local functions and performances. The auditorium frequently hosts college events, conferences, class meetings, music concerts, charitable events, plays, musicals, and much more. The auditorium is well-maintained and spacious and is a great place to enjoy some local talent.
Run by the Burbank Historical Society, the Gordon R. Howard Museum is located in the historical Victorian Mentzer House. Built in 1887, you can explore this historic home and admire interesting displays and artifacts about life in the past. This small museums showcases the local Burbank history where you can view photographs that show the evolution of Burbank from a small settlement to an entertainment wonder. Tours are by appointment only.
