Book a tour with them to go a on savory ride, where you can learn how they started up and how their sauces are made. This is one of the most historical homes in the entire L.A. area. Once inhabited by the Getty family, the Getty Oil Company later donated it to the city, which subsequently used it as the mayor's official home. Among others, the late Mayor Tom Bradley lived here for many years. Getty House is now used for receptions and meetings and is visited by hundreds of school children each year.

The Lake Shrine is a beautiful place hidden away in Pacific Palisades. It is the resting place for a portion of Mahatma Gandhi's ashes and people from around the world come to pay their respects. The grounds cover ten acres and lie on a former movie set. There is a lake with swans, lush greenery, waterfalls, and beautiful statues. A perfect place to spend the day when you need to get away from it all, the memorial is open to visitors of any denomination. This pleasant place was created by Yogi Paramahansa Yogananda in 1950. Services for followers of this yogi are held in a Dutch windmill left over from its days as a movie studio.
Though not a major tourist destination, Studio Pali Fekete Architects can be quite captivating if you are interested in architecture. The brainchild of Judit Meda Fekete, both an artist and architect herself, attracts a select few who absorb and appreciate the meeting of creativity and structural design. The place evokes a creative streak in even those uninterested.
