The McCambridge Park War Memorial was built to honor the American soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the World War II. Completed in 1969, this memorial is a tribute that preserves the memories of those lost in that tragic war, so that generations to come will continue to honor them. The memorial is also where the city’s Memorial Day Ceremony takes place each year. Call for more information on upcoming events.
Founded in 1926 by The Parks Commission of Burbank, Palm Park is a peaceful green space located in the heart of the city, allowing locals to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Home to more than 50 palm trees, the center of the park is occupied by a small water body, where different species of birds can be spotted quenching their thirst, making this a great place for bird watching as well.
