Butte

Often referred to as "The Richest Hill on Earth", Butte used to attract migrants from as far as Ireland, Lebanon, Croatia and China. Its residential districts were interlaced with mining industries in copper, silver and gold thus attracting labor aplenty. The result was a burgeoning red-light industry that the city has often been associated with. Present-day Butte boasts numerous heritage factories, brick hotels, old buildings and attractions such as the country's longest ever running brothel - the Dumas Brothel. Also stop by the Mai Wah Museum, the Berkeley Pit, the Venus Alley and Our Lady of the Rockies Statue.
