Found 435.86 meters (1430 feet) above sea level, Llyn Llydaw is a beautiful glacial lake belonging to Yr Wyddfa. One of the most frequented lakes in this country. Several visitors who visit Llyn Llydaw also take a walk on the Miner's Track. A legend associated with Llyn Llydaw states that it was here that Excalibur, sword of King Arthur, was thrown by Sir Bedivere. The sword was allegedly thrown once the battle of Camlann concluded.
