"As Snug as a Bug in a Rug"
The Snug, as its name suggests, is a rather cozy venue, situated between the botanical gardens and the Fitzwilliam Museum. Formerly known as the Spreadeagle, the eagle statuette still sits atop the entrance to the bar. Inside, the bare brick walls are complemented by wooden beams and comfortable chairs. Food is available all day, every day and includes a wide selection of mouth-watering gourmet burgers. The Snug also hosts live bands twice weekly, with no cover charge, on Tuesday and Sunday nights from 8p. The bar is open late.
