In Canterbury, St Martin's Church is the oldest church to have been established in England and is still functional. St Martin's Church features a lot of spolia or used Roman bricks, apart from entire sections of the church's walls fitted with Roman tiles. The brick ruins of an old Roman tomb have been incorporated into the church's structure. Presently, St Martin's Church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also marked as a Grade I listed structure by the English Heritage.
