Noon Gun

The pristine location of Signal Hill is also an address to two mighty cannons. These British weapons were earlier used, to alert the residents of the city about the arrival of ships. Today, these guns fire everyday at noon to keep the century-old tradition of the city alive. Tourists can watch the gun fire from a safe distance at Signal Hill. If you are new to the city, try to be alert around noon or be startled with a loud boom!
