Smokey Bear Historical Park
"Amazing Park"
The Smokey Bear Historical Park was named after a little bear cub called Smokey whose paws were burnt in a fire that ravaged through the Smokey Mountains in 1950's. A perfect spot for families, plenty of recreational spaces abound in the form of picnic tables, designated play areas and an amphitheater which frequently hosts concerts and live entertainment. Educational and attractive exhibits on ecology, forest fires and environmental preservation are enlightening to say the least.
