Spanning across the state borders of Miranda and Vargas, the peak stands tall at an elevation of 2,765 meters (9,072 feet). Accessible via the main city, the rugged green terrain of the mountain range is a popular destination for hikers and backpackers. El Anfiteatro is a camping site nestled below the peak, ideal for those who wish to spend the night in the lap of the rolling mountains. A relatively small stainless steel cross marks the summit of the peak.
