Because Prados del Este is in an aristocratic residential area, it lacks many of the services accessible to other zones. This shopping center is practically the only one on the city's outskirts, apart from the out-of-town centers of Concresa, Pirámide, and Humboldt. The beautiful pink Mediterranean-style building has an outdoor arcade through which one gains access to the huge passages which constitute the complex. Galerías Prados del Este offers a wide variety of shops, with some 150 distributed throughout its three levels (street level, the mezzanine, the intermediate level, and the top floor). Here you will find a well-known restaurant, pizzeria, and café, plus banks, and a supermarket. Parking facilities are available for over 800 vehicles.
