The river of Clydach is located in Monmouthshire. This short and steep river is fast-flowing stream of water falling in the Blaenau Gwent county borough of South Wales. Enclosed in the Brecon Beacons National Park it flows for a length of 10 kilometers (6 miles). The river passes through the slopes of Mynydd Llangatwg, via Clydach Dingle and flows till Brynmawr. The Clydach also joins River Usk. Befittingly, the name of the river can be translated to ‘swift' / ‘stony' in English.
