Bergerie Nationale de Rambouillet

The Bergerie Nationale is a massive experimental farm, aimed towards improving farming techniques through a collection of initiatives. It is the center for genetic conservation of the Mérinos de Rambouillet, a breed of sheep particular to the land for over two centuries, and for experiments in large-scale organic agriculture and livestock farming. It also includes an equestrian center, educational facilities, and boutiques selling the farm's produce, including meats, dairy, eggs, wine, honey, wool products, and souvenirs.
