Chateau de Montmort

Built atop the remains of a medieval castle, the stately mansion of Château de Montmort is a grand sight to behold with its early Renaissance architecture, imposing towers and beautifully maintained park and gardens. The castle stone platform is believes to date back to the 11th Century, while the château itself was built in 1577. Today, it is a protected historical monument of France and can be visited by tourists between the months of July and August.
