, 6 Options Found

Imagine enjoying a concert in a huge auditorium that is well lit, with interiors that use bold colors; this is exactly what The Charleston Music Hall offers. Complete with state-of-the-art sound and light equipment, this venue features a huge stage that has seen an array of performances by many well-known and amateur artists. Viewing a performance here is truly a treat.

If you are looking for some high-end entertainment complete with live music, psychedelic lights, and a discerning crowd that really knows how to party, then The Charleston Pour House it is for you. This bar and entertainment venue is ideal to catch some top-notch artists and DJs doing what they do best. The drink selection is extensive and easy on the pocket, so you can enjoy a tasty brew regardless of whether you are there to see the show or just to unwind at the end of a long workday. This is hands down the best reasonably priced live music venue in Charleston! You will not be disappointed with the service either. The staff is welcoming, and they are only too happy to help if you need anything.

MUSC Health Stadium is the home to The Charleston Battery, Charleston's own professional soccer team. Opened in 1999, this is one of the first privately-funded, soccer-specific stadiums to be built in the United States, and it is an amazing place to take in a match. There is even a genuine, English-style pub onsite where you can grab a pint and review the game with fellow soccer fans. The space is also used as a venue for a variety of festivals and concerts, including Charleston's annual Oktoberfest celebration, besides soccer matches and other sports events.

No, this venue doesn't get its name from the popular 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' story, but rather because of its tin foil decor that appears to slither across the room when the flashing stage lights are worked into a frenzy. Besides the excellent live performances and DJ music at The Tin Roof, patrons can also gorge on some specialty hot dogs, which seem to be another reason why the crowds throng this place. The Tin Roof is a snazzy addition to the West Ashley bar scene, and it definitely makes all the cool cats this side of Charleston purr with delight.

The Sottile Theatre is situated in the College of Charleston. Built in 1927, this was the largest theater in the whole of South Carolina. At the present, well-scripted plays are showcased against the backdrop of side archways, with ornamental ironwork, and a domed ceiling, made to look like shining stars. It is also one of the homes of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra. This classic theater features a grand lobby on the second floor, providing spectacular views of George Street. The theater ensures that students and visitors have a great time with the performing arts events and diverse programs held here.

Located in a railroad storage depot listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Music Farm is your station for live music. Outside, the building looks like what it was, a train depot. On the inside, hog wire, sheet metal and plywood convey the feeling of a farm gone electric. The majority of acts that play here are not typical radio fare; the Farm has featured nationally known jazz, bluegrass, reggae, folk and rock music acts since 1991. And unlike most music venues, the bar is easy to access. Shows are all ages unless stated otherwise.
