The Pour House

Tommy Condon's Irish Pub & Seafood Restaurant

Billing itself as an "authentic Irish pub," Tommy Condon's offers three different dining experiences beneath one roof. Diners can opt to enjoy a meal on the large outdoor deck, in the pub section, or in the more formal back dining room. The dining room is decorated in true Irish country style and the entire establishment is adorned with Irish antiques and collectibles, brought straight from Ireland by Condon himself. The atmosphere is family-oriented and children are always welcome. Shrimp and grits sit right alongside fish and chips on the menu, but the big corned beef and cabbage plate is a must try for those yearning for the Emerald Isle.

Blind Tiger Pub

The Blind Tiger Pub provides a delightfully upscale experience while offering a selection of wines and beers from around the globe. The pub is in a building that dates back to 1803, and was the site of a pub during Prohibition. This is a place where you'll be able to get both a nice Chardonnay and an Oatmeal Stout. There is live music most nights. If you get hungry, sample their menu, or consider The Four Corners Café next door, which the pub is connected to.

The Icehouse

Located in the 1901 building for the original Crystal Ice Company and Clinchfield Coal Corporation, an upstairs bar and first floor restaurant exist here. Open since the 1970s, both have grown into a popular dining and drinking destination. The 2nd floor pub offers over 100 beer selections as well as creative fruit infusions and rums with fruit. No food is sold; however, they have free hot dogs on Saturdays and Sundays. Happy Hour begins at noon and lasts until 8p. Smoking is allowed, but patrons can take their drinks downstairs and relax on the back patio or in rocking chairs on the front porch. The downstairs restaurant is decorated with photos and memorabilia from the 1920s. Family friendly, there is a kids' menu. Parking is off-road along the front of the building.

The Bar at Husk

Located in Historic Downtown, this little bar is nestled in the Husk Restaurant at Queen Street. Open 4p onwards, it is known to serve some of the best whiskey and whiskey based cocktails in town.
