It expanded by 4,200 hectares (10,378.4 acres) on National Parks Day in 2010, putting it at around 112,000 hectares (276,758 acres) altogether. Top attractions include the Burra Range lookout, which sits on the Flinders Highway, and the site's only camping area at Canns Creek. The best months to visit are May through September. Access may be limited between November and April.
