"Atop a Scenic Hill"
Neslted on a scenic hill which also remains the city's highest point, Ermita de Santa Ana is a beautiful chapel in Spain's Chiclana de la Frontera municipality. Built to the designs of Torcuato Cayón, a celebrated architect, the chapel's construction was commissioned by José Manjón and Francisco de Paula. The chapel's architecture is a blend of Neoclassical, Mozarabic and Byzantine stiles. A small tomb is found inside the chapel. Cadiz-based sculptor Domingo Giscardi has designed the Saint Anne with the Virgin statue which rests inside a niche.
