Founded in 2012, The Clay Cottage Ceramic Studio is a fun place to be for the entire family. This pottery studio is where you can let your creative, artistic side go wild. Choose from their ceramic objects, the prices vary depending upon the size. Make this piece of pottery your canvas and paint away. You can bring your own colors and designs or the studio will provide. They will also help you to choose your pattern. Once completed, they will glaze and kiln your work. It will take around a week for your piece to be ready. The studio is available for parties, birthdays and baby showers.

Gur Sikh Temple is the oldest remaining temple of its kind in North America. Designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 2002, it is also one of the only Sikh temples outside Asia to bear such a distinction. Its grand opening was attended by British Columbians of all denominations, establishing an early tradition of welcomeness at the holy site, whose name translates to "doorway to the Guru" in Punjabi. The lower floor of the two-story temple comprises a Langar, or kitchen, and community dining room while the top floor houses the prayer hall. There is also a small museum in the basement that honors Sikh heritage and the history of Gur Sikh Temple, which celebrated its hundred year anniversary in 2011.
