Founded in 2007, the Creation Museum rests on 7000 square meters (75000 square feet) of land showcase the history of the world from the earliest of days of the Jurassic period till recent times. Focusing more on the Biblical theories, they have different exhibits showcasing animals and humans from different times in their equivalent settings. You shall also find here a petting zoo and a large botanical garden. They also feature a state-of-the-art planetarium and a zip line adventure course besides other fun learning elements throughout the museum.
The Tri-State Warbird Museum is a museum whose main aim is to preserve aircrafts that were used during World War II. The museum is located in a hangar where there is a collection of exhibits which are well organised. Since the aim of the museum is to restore these historic warbirds they are well maintained for display. From time to time they are also flown so that the engine is in working condition.
Dinsmore Homestead is a house museum that rests on a property that spans 700 acres (2.8 square kilometers) in Boone County. Perceived in 1839, post purchase of the land, owners James and Martha Dinsmore along with their 3 daughters settled here and grew grapes, raised sheep and cured willows for basket-making business. As of today, the Dinsmore Homestead Foundation has the home in its care and has purchased 30 acres (0.12 square kilometers) of land along with it for site preservation. It is now used as a house museum to showcase the culture and lifestyle of the people that lived in the 1800s.

Visit the Hillforest Mansion to discover the local lifestyle in the 19th Century. Built in 1855 by the architect Isaiah Rogers in Italian Renaissance style of architecture, this structure is hard to miss. Today the mansion is converted into a museum which is managed by the Hillforest Historical Foundation where tours are held exhibiting the interiors of the house. In the year 1992, the house was listed on the National Historic Landmark.
With over 150 palm trees, tons of white sand and lots of fun rides, The Beach Waterpark could not have been more appropriately named.
