"Blissful Escapade"

Blue Mountains National Park was established in September 1959 and since then has been a prime attraction for locals and tourists alike. Spread over an area of 1,034.6 square miles (2,679.54 square kilometers), the park is known for its rich wildlife and flora. Being one of the most famous national parks in the country, the park attracts hundreds of thousands visitors who come here to enjoy mountain biking, hiking, climbing, canyoning, and abseiling. One of the most striking highlight of the park is the scenic Bridal Veil Falls. This waterfall is a picture-perfect vision of serenity and every photographer's delight. The Three Sisters rock formation in the park is another significant feature of the park. Legend has it that these rocks are actually three Aboriginal sisters who were turned to stone by tribal elders to protect them from the Nepean tribe members. The park is a must-visit attraction while touring the city.
