Estádio do Pacaembu or Estádio Municipal Paulo Machado de Carvalho opened in 1940 and was the home of the famous Corinthians, one of the best clubs in Brazil till 2013. This multifaceted, beautiful stadium has a sports complex which includes a swimming pool, gyms and a tennis court. Located under its grandstands is the Museu do Futebol (Museum of Football) which is all about Brazilian football history. The stadium has held many concerts in the past such as Avril Lavigne, Iron Maiden and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
Originally home to the Sao Paulo Football Club, the Estadio do Caninde or Estádio Oswaldo Teixeira Duarte is a football stadium which now belongs to the Club Portuguesa. A home fortress, this stadium has superior facilities and comfortable seating. On match days one can watch screaming fans shouting out their "Ole's!" and cheering the home team on.
Allianz Parque is located on the former site of Estadio Palestra Italia. This state-of-the-art stadium is a versatile arena that is used for sporting events, concerts, corporate functions, and shows. The complex has buildings dedicated for various purposes such as sports, entertainment and more. It has facilities for basketball, volleyball, and tennis as well as gymnastics and judo. The Hipódromo de Cidade Jardim is located in the neighborhood of the same name. This racing hippodrome was established in 1941 and features four lanes in a closed loop. Two lanes are used for races, with a few training lanes as well as grass areas. It hosts equestrian events of the Jockey Club of São Paulo that are scheduled on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. With free admission, ample parking, and a bar and restaurant on site, it attracts a large number of visitors. Children can use the playground as well as enjoy a pony ride.

The Jockey Club of São Paulo is one of the largest venue in the city to see a show, with sprawling dimensions, it appears as if it can contain the entire city. From Saturday to Monday, the horses and jockeys take center stage with the race track. However, the club also is very popular for weddings and private events as well as hosting concerts from some of the most famous names in music. Everything under the sun can be found here as far as entertainment is concerned, other events include, car racing, the ever popular soccer and a place for diplomats and candidates to meet and campaign. Its location is a little outside of the city, but no matter what, any event that you see there is worth the trip.
Autódromo José Carlos Pace is named after Brazilian Formula One Driver José Carlos Pace. Earlier it was known as Interlagos. A circuit of 4.31 kilometers (2.5 miles) with 15 turns runs through the track. It was originally constructed around 1936, but it has seen several changes in the layout of tracks over the years. The uneven terrain of the track makes driving here a challenge for all motor racers.
