Bar Constitución has a distinct vibe like no ordinary nightclub in Chile. With a steely factory like ambiance, graffiti-lined pillars and walls made of wooden supports, the DJ resembles a carpenter at work in his little, rustic cabin! Truly cosmopolitan in nature, the diverse clientele converse in a variety of languages and not just local Spanish. The lounge area has been cleverly separated from the dance space by a glass wall, so you can watch the dancers and also catch up on some small talk with your companions.
La Feria which opened in 1996 at Portales Street was burned to the ground; however a new club was opened in the even trendier Bellavista neighbourhood. Santiago's underground music scene is concentrated here and many Chilean DJs who made it big abroad, started off by playing at La Feria. A huge green-lit aquarium in the wall along with subdued brown lighting, makes this place visually appealing as well.
