Teatr Muzyczny Roma seems to have found the formula for success: mix popularity with excellent content and the result is a successful challenge to even the National Opera. The theater presents everything from opera to musicals to contemporary concerts and any other performance that seems to fit. For the epic production of Peter Pan, the set designers created one of the most elaborate stage sets in Polish theater history. The building has recently been renovated, giving it a classy edge with an elegant flair.

Spend an evening at Teatr Kwadrat and get a dose of some amazing talent. Teatr Kwadrat (Theater Square) is known for the comedies and fun plays. Most of the performances are often based off the work from popular authors like Alan Ayckbourn, Ray Cooney, Philip King, Bernard Slade, Eric Chappell and Donald Churchil to name a few. There are also English, French and American plays performed, although in Polish. Special emphasis is on presenting plays by Polish authors. The artists are well-known and are invited from all over the world to perform. A visit to the Theater Square is a must!

Teatr Ateneum features fine actors and commercial plays. Many of the plays are successful foreign dramas which are translated into Polish; for example, "The Dresser" or "Tea With Stalin". Some of Poland's most famous actors appear here, to boot. Also featured at the theater are cabaret and musical performances by renowned artists and groups. Tickets can be bought in advance from the theater's box office.

The TR Warszawa presents just about anything. It may be Shakespeare or a Dostoevsky play, a new one-man show, or perhaps a popular cabaret. Keep an eye out for the occasional performances of Soyka, one of Poland's most talented contemporary musicians.

Teatr Nowy (New Theater) presents original and different plays. Often there are premiers, and theater lovers from around the city will be in attendance. Most of the performed plays are contemporary and written by Polish authors. The theater often make use of elaborate stage effects, lighting, and costumes.
