Park Place

Going to the mall is one of Tucson's favorite entertainment activities, especially during the summer when it's just too hot to do anything outside. People relax and socialize in a cool, air-conditioned environment while getting their shopping and dining accomplished. Park Place, or Park Mall, on Broadway is no exception; in fact it's getting more popular since its recent facelift. Several stores have been added, and more are on the way, so check out everything that is new.

Tucson Mall

When locals say they're going to "The Mall," they don't mean the strip mall down at the corner. Rather, they're referring to the biggest shopping center in the city, the Tucson Mall. With more than 200 specialty stores, a large food court serving cuisine from all over the world and a great merry-go-round, this place has got everything. Of special interest for visitors from out of town is Arizona Avenue, a large section of the mall completely devoted to things southwestern including pottery, silver, turquoise, Native American art, you name it. Chances are you will find that special piece of Arizona you want to take home with you right here.
