Le Fizz is a trendy and super popular Montpellier nightclub. In fact, the club actually has two floors, each with its own style and ambiance. The clientele is diverse, as is the musical selection. The club often hosts parties and theme nights such as a weekly ladies' night and a student night.
L'Antirouille is one of the most frequented music bars in Montpellier. Doors open at 9p and there is a concert almost every night of the week. The diverse program is arranged by the colorful patron Jacky and tends to be oriented towards world music and French singers with a little rock, reggae and electronic music. There is a general preference for new talent. The first Monday of every month offers free improvised concerts. Along with renowned DJs, the club is also host to a number of live bands. The club itself is divided into two parts with the dance floor taking up the first level with two classy bars overlooking it from the second level. Theme nights include salsa parties and singles nights. Entry is free on weekdays and free till midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
Located along the beachfront road in La Grande Motte, La Dune is a popular nightclub known for its trendy interiors and cutting edge sound system. During the summer months especially, the club is host to many well-known DJs. Situated on a street lined with bars and restaurants, this is a great destination for a bout of late night partying. The celebration goes on well into the early hours of the morning, with techno and house music playing from the speakers, sometimes mixed in with other genres, and zippy cocktails being served in the bar area.
