Le Bibent

Entering Le Bibent is like stepping into a resplendent Baroque palace with jaw-dropping splendor. This fine dining restaurant is situated inside a refurbished, listed monument that combines the palatial grandeur of two major architectural styles: Art Nouveau and Baroque. Chef Constant has three decades of experience working in luxury restaurants and brings the finest of French culinary arts to the table. Choose from prix fixe and à la carte options, both of which offer a fine gastronomic experience. To the sound of soothing jazz music, savor dishes such as Prawn Papillote, Foie Gras Confit, Caramelised Potatoes Stuffed Pig's Trotter and Salmon Tartare served with oysters. Do not forget to admire the fine brocades, columns, wall and ceiling paintings before leaving the restaurant.

Huguette - café cantine du Bon Vivre

Tom and Leo, the people behind Le Bon Vivre, have created a niche by adding a modern twist to many traditional French favorites. The working crowd of downtown Toulouse love this bistro, adjacent to the Town Hall, serving large proportions at a reasonable price. The starters made with fresh fruits are refreshing. Try a contemporary version of the southwestern cassoulet, prepared with duck or pork. Macaroni with truffles and mushroom is recommended and will win you over. The brick decor is reminiscent of the old charm of Toulouse, the "pink city".

Monsieur Georges is the right place to be if you are looking to try something interesting and new. For starters, this place is on four different levels, each with rooms where you can either lounge with a drink or enjoy a traditional French meal made from original recipes that date back generations. The decor in this place is stunning, contemporary, and chic. One level will have various abstract art all over the walls, while another area has arched white brick ceilings and walls that are brilliantly lit by candles.

Le Colombier

Le Colombier is just the place to visit for a French gastronomic experience that includes Bigourdane snails, a pot of salmon, monkfish with fine vegetables and cassoulets, which is a country course made by cooking together goose meat, sausages and shin of pork. Top the meal with some great wines from the best regional French vineyards and some vintage Armagnacs too. Good food should always be accompanied by great dessert, and Le Colombier won't disappoint you!

Spanning across two levels with differently done interiors, the restaurant features a coveted menu that many celebrities swear by. Start with the delectable foie gras and chilled tomato soup and work your way through signature mains like poached sea bass with polenta and lobster sauce, or Mont Royal Pigeon with fennel, purple artichokes, and black garlic. La Voile Blanche

One of the more interesting spots in Toulouse is La Voile Blanche, which is near a lovely beach, has a shaded terrace, pool, hot tub, and a full cocktail bar spread over 8000 square meters (86,111 square feet) of space. While you explore the venue, you will also notice waterfalls and straw-built looking architecture. Walk from the white sand beach into a restaurant that is decked out with elegant and exotic decor. La Voile Blanche is a marvelous place to visit during the summer, since the days are relaxed, and the evenings are spectacular! Be sure to call ahead for hours, since they change from time to time.
