Lavish elegance and opulence are the foundation of this Georgian Revival house. Built in 1903 during the Cattle Baron Era of the West, Thistle Hill was designed and occupied by Electra Waggoner—daughter of cattleman William T. Waggoner—and her husband. Today it is considered a historic landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.The house contains 18 rooms, each filled with turn-of-the century furnishings. Oak-paneled halls and solid limestone pillars are just a few of the fine craftsmanship details. The house is known as much for its architectural design elements as it is for the families who occupied it. Guided tours, which begin on the hour, are offered to provide insight on the family and the house's design and creation, as well as on local history.

English architect Howard Messer designed and built this magnificent home in 1899 for Fort Worth "Cattle Baron" William H. Eddleman. Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House is situated on a high bluff overlooking former pastureland and features stoic, towering gables, meticulously ornate trim, a red sandstone porch and copper finials in a traditional Victorian exterior. The interior is also exceptionally elaborate, with dark parquet floors, magnificent oak paneling and original, handcrafted wooden frameworks.

This historic Casa Mañana theater was created by Henry Kaiser, following examples and design principles set by famous architect R. Buckminster Fuller. Casa Mañana features a children's playhouse and a modified thrust stage with a seating for upto 1,045 people. Entertainers such as Bill Cosby, Johnny Mathis and Barry Manilow have performed here. In addition, Broadway touring productions including 'Cats' and 'Miss Saigon' have thrilled visitors with spectacular sets and performances. For over 40 years now, this theater company has only been growing to become one of the largest performing arts center in Texas. It has always nurtured and honed the talents of a number of people to promote live professional theater and continues to do so, even today.

Named after Amon G. Carter, statesman, and publisher of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and a local icon, this stadium lies on the Texas Christian University campus. Carter was instrumental in bringing national recognition to both Fort Worth and the University. Built in 1929, this stadium seats up to 45000 people and is home to the 'Horned Frogs', the university football team. Renowned sportsmen like Bob Lily and Jim Swink have played in this stadium.

The Will Rogers Memorial Center houses The Will Rogers Coliseum which is a great place to catch up on some good old rodeo action and re-live the days of the old west. The Coliseum has permanent seating facilities for 6000 people. Some of the world's most famous and heart-stopping rodeo contests take place here during the Southwestern Exposition and Life-stock Show. The Coliseum hosts other sporting events too.

This cavernous honky-tonk is America's 'Best Country Music Nightclub' according to both the Country Music Association and The Academy of Country Music. It's also one of the largest and most famous. Founded in 1981, Billy Bob's Texas offers enough room for 6,000 people to drink, play pool, play video games or dance to the live country music performed every night. Rodeo enthusiasts will enjoy the indoor arena where cowboys ride bucking bulls every weekend. Friday and Saturday night headliners are often among the biggest names in the industry, including Garth Brooks, Lee Ann Rimes, Hank Williams Jr. and Bob Hope. All have left hand prints, which are displayed in concrete around the club.
