Located in a 14th-century building, this excellent vegetarian restaurant stays packed from all day. The cafeteria-style set-up features a huge salad bar, soups and a selection of main courses which change daily. Popular with students, grandmas, business people and everyone in between, the restaurant also serves a wide range of fruit juices and teas. A large bakery flanks the main restaurant. Perfect for the quick snack or long drawn out afternoon meal, it is only a short walk from both Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square.
This bakery stands two blocks from Staromestske Namesti (Old Town Square). It offers fresh bread, cheesecake, brownies and croissants as well as sandwiches and side dishes. Many consider the desserts on offer here to be among the best in Prague. This could well be because everything is made fresh on the premises and from natural ingredients.
When it comes to ice creams, no one does it quite like Angelato. The chain of ice cream parlors is present in over three locations in Prague. One of them located on Rytířská, offers delicious, creamy gelato, ice creams and sorbets of diverse flavors. Indulge in the velvety soft, creamy texture and sinful offerings such as tiramisu and lemon gelato, strawberry and lemon ice cream and such, you will definitely be coming back for more!
Ludwig Moser opened the Moser Glassworks in Karlovy Vary in 1857. Today, Moser glass can be found in the private collections of both Queen Elizabeth II and the King of Thailand. The company has had a showroom in the Cerna Ruze Passage since 1925. The current one on the first floor is an exclusive sequence of wood-paneled rooms which perfectly match the style and class of the glassware. A broad range of glassware is on display, from hand-crafted pieces to hand-cut chandeliers and drinking sets. It's well worth a visit, if only to admire contemporary Czech glass art.
