Fireplaces, couches, rolling ladders and fresh coffee make this bookstore, which has been at 50 Penn Place for 15 years, extra special. You have never been so pampered in a bookstore. You will feel like you have walked into the private library at an old country estate. But most libraries do not have 60,000 titles from which to choose. You can feel free to browse through your selections before you purchase them, so make yourself comfortable and put your feet up.

Billed as the oldest guitar store in the OKC metro area, the shop mainly caters to the rhythm section, with a wide selection of acoustic/electric guitars and bass, keyboards and drum sets. There's also a bluegrass section with banjos and mandolins, along with amps and other sound tools. The shop also offers lessons for the guitar, keyboard and bass, as well recording services. Please note that they are closed on Sundays.
OKC Music and Sound is a great place to shop if you're in the market for a new guitar. Brands they feature include Collings, G&L and Ibanez, to name a few. For those who want hands-on instruction, OKC Music and Sound has a state of the art teaching facility with eight private studios. Half-hour lessons are offered on a weekly basis. Closed on Sundays.
