This is an 18-hole course with a par 72. It is a somewhat hilly course, but offers a beautiful point from which to view the temperamental, frequently cloud-covered Mt. McKinley peak. With a golf shop, separate driving ranges, private instruction and an on-site restaurant and cocktail lounge, this is the premier choice for Anchorage golfers. A lovely lounge and clubhouse is onsite.
An indoor driving range, high definition golf simulators, the second largest indoor sports field in Alaska, a sports dome, and a golf chalet make this one of the most well-equipped and popular golf courses and sports facilities in Anchorage. The golf course itself is a challenging 9-holes, and graced by views of the Chugach Mountains.
The northernmost 36-hole golf course in the world offers lessons, practice facilities, golf camps, and the Grizzly Grill snack bar and restaurant. The two main courses that comprise Moose Run are called the Hill and the Creek. Allusions to moose and bears are not in jest, as they do sometimes make appearances in the area.
