This is a well-known restaurant that takes its name from a figure who is famous in Romagna's history. The trattoria is located in Sant'Arcangelo, a village which in itself deserves a visit. The decor is typical Romagna, there are interesting items hanging from the ceilings relating back to the history of the area. The tables are well-spaced inside the room, and the service is cordial and attentive. The food is very traditional. The Tagliatelle al Ragù are definitely worth trying as is the Grigliata di Carne both are actually the specialties of the house. The dishes are best washed down with a good Sangiovese, but there also other wines to choose from.
Situated on Strada statale Marecchiesa about ten kilometers from Rimini, this place is well-known, because of its Piadina Romagnola (a kind of unleavened Focaccia bread) and for its traditional fare. Casa Zanni is well furnished in a rustic style with many traditional rustic items hanging from the walls. In the summer it is possible to sit outside in an area behind the eatery which faces onto a beautiful garden. This is the place for lovers of Piadina Romagnola. The extension of the building has detracted a little from the original ambiance. However, the meat dishes are still of a very high standard and the Piade are among the tastiest you could ever hope to try.
