Teatro Lala Schneider is one of the best theaters in Curitiba’s vibrant theater scene. This private space was established in 1994 by famous acting personality João Luiz Fiani. It features a contemporary design, cutting-edge amenities and two spacious halls that can be rented out as well. Located in the Centro district of Curitiba, Teatro Guaíra is a major cultural facility maintained by the state. Boasting of one of the largest concert halls in South America, the theater showcases brilliant orchestras, ballets and other performances throughout the year. The facility features three individual auditoriums of different capacities. It is also home to prestigious organizations like Ballet Teatro Guaira and Paraná Symphony Orchestra.
Constructed in 1874, Teatro Paiol started out as a storeroom for the Brazilian Army's ammunition. The state then converted the structure into a cultural space in 1971. Although the original facade of the building was retained, the interiors were modernized making way for sophisticated technical support and acoustics. Renovated under the guidance of architect Abram Assad, the facility features an auditorium that seats 225 spectators. Located conveniently in Prado Velho neighborhood, Teatro Paiol hosts brilliant performances and shows all year round.
