Christine Wan's is a longstanding neighborhood favorite for tasty Chinese food at reasonable prices. Serving up Mandarin, Szechuan, and Cantonese favorites, the restaurant's outstanding feature is an extensive menu of relatively healthy vegetarian options. For those who prefer to avoid the heavier stuff, this is an excellent alternative. The menu is almost overwhelming in its variety, but there are a few items that stand out. If you are a meat eater, try the Ginger Duck or the Orange Beef. Noodle dishes are delicious as well. The restaurant is not fancy, but it is comfortable and well suited to its location in central Hollywood.
