The history of the parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help dates back to the year 1949. The original church, located in Old Town, moved to Miller Road before being affected by the tornado of 1968. The present day church was completed in 1978 and till date serves to the local Catholic Christian community of Scottsdale. Regular services at the church include masses and granting of sacraments.
Located in South Scottsdale, the Hindu Temple of Arizona is a place of quiet worship. Serving the local Hindu community of the Valley, the temple conducts various Hindu rituals and ceremonies like puja, havan, shraad, mundan and thread ceremony. Congregation Beth Israel is the oldest synagogue in the valley and serves the Jewish community of Phoenix and Scottsdale. The onsite Sylvia Plotkin Judaica Museum conducts tours that offer insight into the Jewish culture and religion. The congregational library is one the largest Judaica libraries in the SouthWest and has a collection of over 12,000 religious texts.
Located in the Northern part of the city, this Armenian Apostolic Church is dedicated to Saint Apkar, also known as Abgar V. The church building is a prominent structure set against the desert backdrop and is a symbol of the Eastern faith.
