This great little gourmet food store features a counter stocked with salads like Saffron Orzo and Burmese Noodles. Find polentas, grilled chicken and tofu, meatloaf, Creole sausage, jambalaya, roasted root vegetables, and all manner of sandwiches, served on baguettes, levain, sour roll, focaccia or aram, as well as pastries, cakes and daily specials. There are several tables in a comfortable, French country setting with crockery, pictures of poulet and fresh flowers.

Gregoire, in particular, is where you'll taste the finest French style takeout. Since then, it has been serving freshly prepared breakfast and brunch meals in the Bay Area. Available until 3p each day, Rick and Ann's breakfast specials include varied pancakes, waffles and French Toast. Omelets, egg dishes and traditional local plates form the rest of the breakfast menu. Lunch brings a whole menu dedicated to soup, sandwiches and burgers. A kids' menu is available as well, and daily specials are always interesting.
