This Monterey Peninsula state beach is where locals flock for coastal walks. This protected area encourages visitors to bask in the beauty of the Pacific Ocean, but to take no souvenirs home with them. As a protected site, no fishing is allowed in the area. However, dogs are allowed on the beach as long as their leashed.
