Dedicated to contemporary art, the Walter Phillips Gallery has showcased works by artists like Aïda Ruilova, Steve McQueen and Silke Otto-Knapp. There is no limit to the kind of works displayed here, as visitors will find exhibitions of painting, sculpture, textiles, multimedia and other mediums being displayed here. Located at The Banff Centre, the gallery provides all possible services to artists, from lighting and environment maintenance to insurance and security for the artworks. The video art collection maintained by the gallery is housed in the center's Paul D. Fleck Library. Several other artworks displayed throughout the Center are also maintained by this gallery.
